Event overview
Run4Hope is a community running event on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at Professor's Lake Recreation Centre in Brampton, Ontario. The event offers the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- School Challenge 5K
The event has an overall registration cap of 400 entrants. Individual caps are set at 250 for the 5K, 150 for the 10K, and 20 for the School Challenge 5K. The first 300 entries receive a complimentary shirt. Registration fees vary by category and date.
Course and logistics
Both runners and walkers are welcome. The start and finish are located in the Professor's Lake parking lot and the route follows roads and paths around Professor's Lake. The course is described as mostly flat with a couple small hills. Two water stations will be available on course and at the finish. Washrooms and changing facilities are available in Professor's Lake Recreation Centre.
Walkers receive a finishers medal and are asked to line up at the back of the start. A two hour time limit applies to the race. Strollers are permitted and should line up near the rear; pets and roller blades are not allowed.
Parking is available at Professor's Lake Recreation Centre (capacity 80 cars), with additional parking at St. John Bosco School and nearby street parking. Race kits include a bib, integrated timing chip, and a technical shirt, and can be picked up in advance at the Running Room in Mississauga or on race day at Professor's Lake.
Results, prizes and charity
All finishers receive a medal. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers and to the first place youth team. The event lists knightstable.org as its race charity. Volunteers are recruited for course and event duties. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
