Run4Hope

Run4Hope is a running and walking event held in Brampton, Ontario. The race takes place at Professor’s Lake Recreation Centre and features a route that is mostly flat and fast, with a few small inclines. The event is open to both runners and walkers.

The following distances are available:

  • 5 km
  • 10 km

The course starts and finishes at the Professor’s Lake parking lot, utilizing North Park Drive and the paths surrounding the lake. Marshals, police officers, and first aid staff are positioned along the route to manage safety and guidance. There is a two-hour time limit for the event, ensuring sufficient time for walkers to complete the distance.

Amenities at the venue include washrooms and changing facilities inside the recreation centre, as well as a designated bag drop area outside. Two water stations are provided along the route and at the finish line. While strollers are permitted at the back of the starting pack, pets and roller blades are not allowed on the course.

All participants receive a race kit containing a technical shirt and a bib with an integrated timing chip. Finishers receive a medal upon completion, and post-race snacks and water are provided. Results are recorded for all participants, with awards presented to the top three male and female finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
