run4DAD 5K Run/Walk and Community Events
run4DAD is an annual community event in Alpharetta, Georgia that raises awareness and education about prostate cancer. The event benefits ProstAware, a Georgia 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and is presented by Wellstar. It takes place on June 21, 2026 at 1815 Old Milton Parkway, Alpharetta, GA 30009.
The program includes multiple participation options:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Run/Walk
- kids4DAD Tot Trot (50 yards)
- 5K Virtual Run
- snooze4DAD (remote participation)
Prizes are awarded to winners in the 5K across multiple age brackets. Race shirts are provided for participants registered in the 5K, the 1 Mile Run/Walk and snooze4DAD. Registered children in the kids4DAD Tot Trot receive a run4DAD cape.
Early race packet pick up is scheduled for Friday, June 19 at Big Peach Running Co., 5530 Windward Parkway Suite 420, Alpharetta. On race day, parking is available at the Wills Park Swimming Pool lot until it fills and additional parking may be available near downtown Alpharetta. Old Milton Parkway will be closed between Roswell Street and Wills Road during the race and certain lanes on Wills Road, Milton Avenue and Roswell Street will have closures or single lane use along the route.
