Join the inaugural Run Your Guts Out on March 7 in Owens Cross Roads for a 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run through the Hampton Cove green belt. Proceeds support Colon Cancer Awareness and benefit the Russell Hill Cancer Foundation.

Event details

The Run Your Guts Out event takes place on March 7, 2026 in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama (261 Old 431 Hwy, 35763). The program includes a 5K and a 1 Mile Fun Run. Both events use an out-and-back course that goes through the green belt by Hampton Cove Middle School. This is the first annual 5K and it is held in support of Colon Cancer Awareness. All proceeds will remain local and will go to the Russell Hill Cancer Foundation to help local patients battling colon cancer.
