Event Overview
The Run Your Guts Out is a running event on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama. It supports Colon Cancer Awareness. This is the first annual edition of the event.
Distances
The event includes two distances:
- A 5K run/walk.
- A 1 Mile fun run/walk.
Both courses follow an out-and-back route. The 5K route goes through the green belt near Hampton Cove Middle School.
Participant Details
The first 250 registrants for the 5K will receive a commemorative medal and a t-shirt. Awards are announced after the races. Packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday, March 6, at Fleet Feet Huntsville.
Charity
All event proceeds are donated locally to the Russell Hill Cancer Foundation. The funds support local patients battling colon cancer.
