Run Young & Free 5K & 1K Fun Run
The Run Young & Free event takes place in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas. Organized by All Children's Academy, this nonprofit event aims to promote health and wellness while supporting community children outbreaches and local businesses. The course utilizes the scenic Greenway and the Majestic Park sports complex.
Participants can choose from the following course options:
- 5K
- 1K Fun Run/Walk
- Virtual RY&F Race
The 5K route begins at the Majestic Park fields, proceeds along the Greenway, and concludes with a finish line loop around the park near the Babe Ruth Field. The 1K option serves as a shorter alternative for those walking or running. Specific registrations are also available for students of ACA.
Awards are presented for both the 5K and 1K distances. Medals are provided for first, second, and third place in overall male and female categories, as well as extensive age divisions starting from under 5 years old through to 90 years and older. Cash prizes are awarded to the first and second place winners and to the community teams with the largest number of registered participants.
