Event Overview
The Northwoods Mullet Trail Run is a trail running event scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Cedar Glades Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The event features trail runs followed by a social gathering.
Distances and Entry Options
Participants can choose from four separate race entries:
- Northwoods Mullet Trail Run 25K (No Dog Entry)
- Northwoods Mullet Trail Run 10k (No Dog Entry)
- Northwoods Mullet Trail Run 25k (with my dog)
- Northwoods Mullet Trail Run 10k (with my dog)
Registration for the dog divisions is limited to 10 entries per race.
Event Details and Logistics
The event takes place at Cedar Glades Park (461 Wildcat Rd., Hot Springs). Packet pickup is available at the venue the day before the race from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, as well as on race morning starting at 6:30 AM.
The race is cupless; participants must bring their own refillable vessel for water at the aid stations. The 10k course has two aid stations, while the 25k has three. Organizers note that temperatures can rise during the event.
Post-Race Party
A "Beaver Bash" party starts at 10:00 AM, featuring live music, grilled food, and local beer. Entry to the party is included for race participants, while guests can purchase access for an additional fee.
Awards
Awards are given for overall male and female winners in both the 10k and 25k races. There are also awards for the best mullets and "fullets" (fake mullets), and for the first canine finishers in the dog divisions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
