Northwoods Mullet Trail Run
The event is a trail running meeting at Cedar Glades Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas, located at 461 Wildcat Rd. It offers two main distances with both dog and no-dog entry options.
- 25k (about 16 miles)
- 10k (about 6 miles)
The 25k field has a noon cut off and organizers indicate a four hour completion expectation for that distance. All distances are described as traditional trail "ish" miles and the event is loosely timed. Children 12 years of age and younger are required to be with a parent or guardian or sponsor at all times during the run.
Dog entries are available for each distance with a limit of ten dogs per race. Dogs must be on leash and under full control; organizers may remove dogs that show aggressive or threatening behavior. When dog quotas are filled, organizers may request additional information from owners for exception consideration. Unique awards are planned for the first male and first female finishers. Registration opens February 6 and closes March 23 for the listed options; entry fees vary by distance and dog or no-dog choice.
