Event Overview
The Run with the Roosters 4-Miler is a running and walking event held at Sabino Canyon in Tucson, Arizona. Scheduled for June, the event is designed to take place in the early morning to accommodate the summer temperatures. The course is inclusive of both runners and walkers, with a requirement that all participants finish by 7:00 a.m.

Logistics and Participation
Participants receive several amenities as part of their entry, including a custom race shirt available in both male and female cuts, and free race photography. Following the event, a Mexican breakfast is provided for those taking part. The race is chip-timed, and participants must wear their bib on the front of their body to ensure their time is recorded.
The event offers several team divisions specifically for families, including categories for a father and son, father and daughter, or a father with two children. Awards are presented to overall winners and to winners within five-year age groups. Overall male and female winners receive running shoes from a local athletic store.
Location and Access Information
The race is located at 5700 N. Sabino Canyon Road. Parking is available in the main Sabino Canyon lot; however, a Coronado National Forest parking pass is required for all vehicles. This pass can be purchased online in advance or via park kiosks on-site. Individuals with an annual pass do not need to purchase an additional permit. Please note that dogs are not permitted within Sabino Canyon.
Bib pick-up takes place on specific dates prior to the event at designated retail locations on Tanque Verde and Oracle Road. Registration fees are non-refundable, and bib transfers require prior approval. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
