About the race
Run With The Roosters is a 4 mile road race held on June 20, 2026 in Sabino Canyon, Tucson, AZ. The course is contested on roads and reports a total elevation gain of 391 feet with a maximum elevation of 2,823 feet. The event uses chip timing with a timing chip attached to the race bib and includes remote timing points on course. The race offers custom male and female race shirts, a post race Mexican breakfast, free race photos, finisher awards, and rooster trophy awards in overall and 5-year age groups.
Male and female overall winners receive running shoes from Fleet Feet. The event is cupless: the on-course aid station at the 2 mile mark provides water only, so participants are asked to bring a reusable cup or obtain one on site. Dogs are not permitted in Sabino Canyon. Course markings include orange ribbons with black polka dots, laminated signs at junctions, and blue and white checkerboard flagging to indicate non-race trails.
