Run with the Law 10k, 5K & 1-Mile
Run with the Law is a community running event in Chico, California on June 13, 2026. The event supports the Butte County Sheriff Office and the Deputy Sheriff Association and raises funds for community outreach programs such as Trunk or Treat, scholarships, and sports sponsorship.
In-person courses take place in Lower Bidwell Park near 1099 Woodland Ave., South Park Drive. The 5K uses a certified course and both the 5K and the 1 mile begin on the road near the picnic tables by the softball field and finish adjacent to the softball fields. Virtual options are offered for both the 5K and the 1 mile.

- 5K: 3.1 Miles (certified course)
- 1 mile: 1 Miles
- Virtual 5K: 3.1 Miles
- Virtual 1 mile: 1.1 Miles
Registration fees vary by event: 10k $35, 5K $25, 1 mile $20, virtual 5K $25, virtual 1 mile $20. Registration opens for different events between January and March 2026 and closes April 18, 2026.
