Free New Year’s Day 5K in Chico
The event is a free 5-kilometre road race held on January 1 at Sycamore Field in Bidwell Park, Chico, California. The course follows the official City of Chico Bidwell Park 5K certification. Registration is free and race bibs will not be assigned.
Race timing is available with a visible clock for participants who want an official time. Post-race refreshments are provided, including coffee, hot chocolate, and donuts, and club apparel will be available for purchase. A suggested donation of five dollars is noted to help cover the cost of refreshments, and additional donations to the organizing club are welcome.
