Run with the Cops 5K : Minocqua, WI
The Minocqua Professional Police Association (MPPA) is hosting a community 5K run/walk at Torpy Park in Minocqua, Wisconsin. Proceeds benefit the MPPA, which funds programs such as Shop-with-a-Cop, assistance for families in need, and sponsorship of local school baseball teams. The event uses a cops and robbers theme and includes a costume element.
The course starts at the Bearskin Trestle and follows an out-and-back route on the Bearskin Trail. Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers; there are no age-group awards this year. Day-of registration and packet pick-up are available at Torpy Park.
