Minocqua "No Frills" Marathon
The Minocqua "No Frills" Marathon takes place on Sunday, September 6, 2026, in Minocqua, Wisconsin. The event uses the Bearskin trail as an out and back course and finishes on the trestle in Minocqua. The start and finish are located downtown Minocqua.

Registration and packet pickup occur in person at the American Legion, 121 W Front St, on the days before and the day of the event. Early and super early start options are available by special arrangement; early starters are not eligible for overall first, second, or third place awards. Runners are advised to bring a headlamp because parts of the trail are dark through the woods.
The course is certified with number WI22019DM. Entry fees range by event; published prices show a range from forty to two hundred US dollars. The event lists a beneficiary partner, the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, and thanks its event sponsors. Volunteer opportunities include staffing water stations, some of which also serve as relay transitions and a half marathon start location.
