Minocqua "No Frills" Marathon : overview
The Minocqua "No Frills" Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, September 6, 2026 in Minocqua, Wisconsin (121 Front St, Minocqua, WI 54548). The event includes multiple distance options:

Course and logistics
The marathon course is an out-and-back on the Bearskin trail, starting in downtown Minocqua and finishing on the trestle in Minocqua. Registration and packet pickup are available in person at the American Legion in downtown Minocqua, with pickup offered on the day before the race and on race morning. Early start options are available by special arrangement; participants who use early starts are not eligible for first, second, and third place overall awards. A "super early" start is also offered by special arrangement and participants are advised that parts of the trail are dark and a headlamp may be needed.
