Minocqua 5K Celebration
Girls on the Run North Central Wisconsin holds a season-closing 5K celebration on May 22, 2027, at Minocqua Winter Park, 7543 Squirrel Hill Rd, Minocqua, WI 54548. The event is a non-competitive, community 3.1-mile course designed so participants can walk, run, roll or push at their own pace. Every registered participant who completes the course receives a commemorative medal.
Registration categories and fees for non-program participants are listed: Community Runner (13+) $25, Youth Runner (12 and under) $15, and Running Buddy (16+) $15. Program participants and coaches are already registered through the program and do not need to register. Non-program registration fees increase three weeks before the event.
The event program includes accessible course arrangements and designated parking. Organizers recommend arriving early to allow time for warm-up and check-in. Free parking is available. Additional on-site activities include water stations, face painting, a happy hair station, and merchandise for sale.
Volunteers support set-up and tear-down, registration, course marshals, running buddies, water and cheer stations, face-painting or happy hair stations, and sweepers.
