The marathon course is an out-and-back route on the Bearskin Trail, starting from Minocqua. It is a Boston Marathon certified course. All races start and finish in Bearskin Park, near the trestle in downtown Minocqua.

Check-in, registration, and packet pickup are held at the American Legion building in downtown Minocqua, located at 121 W Front St. These services are available on Saturday, May 23, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, and on Sunday, May 24, from 5:30 to 7:45 AM.
