Event overview
Run with Santa 5K takes place on Sunday, December 6, 2026, at Reston Town Center, 11900 Market St, Reston, VA 20190. The event includes the following race options:
- 5K
- Virtual 5K
Registration prices for both the live and virtual 5K are listed at $45. Prices increase after November 6, 2026 at 11:59pm EST.
Logistics and services
All pre-registered participants receive a race sweatshirt, a finisher medal, a race bib, photo overlays, and a digital finisher certificate. Race photos are free to download after the event; participants are asked to keep their bib visible for photo tagging. Packet pickup is available at =PR= Reston.
The live 5K will be electronically timed by Commonwealth Race Management using the ChronoTrack B disposable tag system. Results will be available immediately after the race and posted on the event results page. A course map is listed as coming soon.
Awards in the live race will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups from 14 and under through 80 and over. There are no awards for the virtual 5K. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
