Event Overview
The Run with Santa 5K is an in-person and virtual running event scheduled for Sunday, December 6, 2026, at Reston Town Center in Reston, Virginia. Participants can choose between two race formats: a live 5K and a Virtual 5K.
Location and Course
The event is held at Reston Town Center (11900 Market St, Reston, VA 20190). A course map for the live race is noted as coming soon. The live 5K will be timed by Commonwealth Race Management using the ChronoTrack B disposable tag system.
Included Items and Awards
All pre-registered participants receive a race sweatshirt, a finisher medal, a race bib, photo overlays, and a digital finisher certificate. Race photos are free to download. Awards are given for the live race to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as to the top three male and female finishers in age groups from 14 and under through 80 and over (in five-year increments). No awards are given for the virtual race.
Registration and Packet Pickup
Registration is available for both the live and virtual 5K. Packet pickup for the live event occurs at =PR= Reston. The price for participation increases after November 6, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
