Run with Howie 5k Fun Run is a community 5K event organized by Lake Howell High School PTSA on February 7, 2026. The event is held at Oviedo Mall, 1700 Oviedo Mall Boulevard, Oviedo, FL 32765. A virtual 5K option is offered in addition to in-person running and walking entries.

The event offers the following entry categories: 5K Run/Walk, Youth 5K Run/Walk (open to ages 18 and under), and Virtual 5K. Standard entry fees listed are $25 for the 5K and virtual 5K, and $20 for the youth 5K. Prices increase after January 14, 2026. The course is described as professionally organized and will include sponsor booths and community engagement opportunities.
There is no chip timing and scoring; a clock will display finish times for participants. Awards are planned for the top three male and top three female finishers plus age group awards for 12 and under.
