Run with Heart 5K and 1 Mile Tater Tot Trot
The Run with Heart event is a community running day held in Woodbine, Georgia, on February 7, 2026. Races start and finish at Satilla Waterfront Park and use an out-and-back course that follows the Satilla Waterfront boardwalk and greenway.

- 1 Mile Tater Tot Trot (youth run)
Proceeds support a local elementary school running club. Funds from the event will help purchase running club shirts for students who reach a half-marathon goal during the school year, and a special hat or visor for those who reach a full-marathon goal. A portion of proceeds will help establish a memorial scholarship to be awarded to a graduating senior who participates in cross-country or track. One hundred percent of online donations will go directly to that scholarship fund.
Additional event details note an optional pre-race packet pickup at the local elementary school on the Friday before the race. Race day parking at Satilla Waterfront Park is limited and participants may be directed to off-site or local street parking. Age-group categories are defined for both races; 5K age groups span youth to grand masters, and the 1 Mile has children’s divisions. Participants registered before January 26 will receive a race shirt, and all 5K finishers receive a custom finisher’s medal. Runners are encouraged to wear pink, red, white, and heart-themed gear.
