Event Overview
The Run Wild event takes place at Potawatomi State Park in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. This occasion marks the 37th year of the race, which is held within the sceneries of Door County. The event features multiple distance options for participants, including a featured 10K race that includes a route up Tower Hill. All races are held on tree lined park roads that are closed to vehicle traffic during the event.

Logistics and Participation
Participants receive a gun start and a chip timed finish. Runners must wear their bibs on the front of their clothing and keep them visible for timers and volunteers. The park entrance fee is waived on the day of the race until late morning. For safety reasons, pets are not permitted at this event.
Proceeds from the registration fees support projects managed by the Friends of Potawatomi State Park. Awards are granted to the first, second, and third place finishers in each 10-year age division. These awards are distributed on-site on the day of the race and are not mailed to participants.
Registration and Amenities
Long sleeve T-shirts are provided to participants, with availability guaranteed for those who register by September 19th. Registrations received after this date receive shirts based on remaining inventory. Packet pick-up is available the day before the event at Bay Shore Outfitters in Sturgeon Bay or on-site on the morning of the races.
