Run Wild 10K

Run Wild 5K, 10K and Smokey Bear Kids Fun Run - Potawatomi State Park

The event is scheduled for October 10, 2026, at Potawatomi State Park in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. It is part of the Run Door County series and celebrates the 37th year of Run Wild. Races take place on tree-lined park roads that are closed to traffic for the event. Park entrance fee is waived on the day of the race until 11:00 a.m.

Distances included:

• 5K - road course on tree-lined park roads
• 10K - road course including a climb up tower hill
• Smokey Bear 1/3 mile - youth run for ages 2 to 10
• 5K Virtual
• 10K Virtual

Races use a gun start and chip-timed results. The 10K awards first, second and third place in each 10-year age division; awards will not be mailed and must be picked up on race day. Packet pick-up is available at Bay Shore Outfitters in Sturgeon Bay the day before the event and on the morning of the event. Long sleeve T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations received before September 19, 2026; registrations on or after that date are not guaranteed a T-shirt. Pre-registration fees increase on September 20, 2026, and online registration closes on October 5, 2026. In-person registration is available at packet pick-up or on the day of the run.
