Run Wild 5K, 10K and Smokey Bear Kids Fun Run
Run Wild takes place at Potawatomi State Park in Sturgeon Bay, Door County, Wisconsin. The event features in-person and virtual races on tree-lined park roads that are closed to traffic during the races. The 10K course includes a climb up Tower Hill. Timing is chip based and races use a gun start. Packet pick-up is available at Bay Shore Outfitters in Sturgeon Bay the day before and on race morning. Long sleeve T shirts are guaranteed for registrations received by September 19; registrations after that date are not guaranteed a shirt but extras may be ordered.
Awards are given for first, second and third place in each 10 year age division for the 10K. Awards will not be mailed and must be picked up on race day. Entry fees increase after the pre registration period. The event is a no pet event for the safety of runners and volunteers. Proceeds support Friends of Potawatomi State Park projects in the park. Park entrance fee is waived on the day of the race until 11:00 a.m.
