Crossroads Trail Run
The Crossroads Trail Run is a community trail event at Crossroads at Big Creek Nature Preserve in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin on June 13, 2026. The event offers multiple course lengths so participants can choose a distance that fits them.
- 2K, 1.24 miles
- 5K, 3.1 miles
- 10K, 6.2 miles
Chip timing will be used and starts are staggered by distance. An awards ceremony will follow the races. Packet pick-up is scheduled at the Collins Learning Center on Wednesday, June 10 and Thursday, June 11 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, Friday, June 12 from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, and Saturday, June 13 from 6:30 to 7:30 am. Registration opens January 6, 2026 and closes May 13, 2026; the registration fee is $30. To reserve a race t-shirt, registration must be completed by May 22, 2026; participants who register after that date may choose from a selection of previous years' shirts.
The event includes water stations (two on the 5K, three on the 10K), locally sourced prizes for top finishers, a native tree for each participant, and post-race snacks. Bikes, shoes with spikes, and dogs are not allowed on the course during the race. Proceeds benefit Crossroads at Big Creek and support its mission of environmental education, research, restoration, and outdoor experiences.
