RUN WHITE and BOOM
RUN WHITE and BOOM takes place on July 3, 2026 at the Piatt County Forest Preserve, 700 E Wilson, Bement, IL 61813, USA. Routes start and finish at the forest preserve and the event features both a short fun run and a distance race.
Distances
- 1 Mile FUN Run/Walk, not officially timed.
- 5K officially timed with age group awards for male and female competitors.
The 5K awards recognize the first three finishers in each age group: 10 and under; 11 to 17; 18 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 to 69; 70 and over. A water stop is provided on the 5K course. Snacks, water and Gatorade are available for participants after the races. An awards ceremony for the 5K is scheduled for the evening.
Registration pricing is split into two periods: early bird from March 9, 2026 through May 31, 2026 with fees of 1 mile $20 and 5K $30; and a price increase from June 1, 2026 through July 3, 2026 with fees of 1 mile $25 and 5K $35. Check in and same day sign ups are available the evening of the event between 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM and shirts are distributed at check in. To be guaranteed a shirt, registration must be completed by June 15, 2026. Any unclaimed shirts by July 10 will be forfeited. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
