Run for Your Life: 5K Run & 1 Mile Fun Run & Trick or Treat Trot - Norman
This event takes place on October 24, 2026, at Ruby Grant Park in Norman, Oklahoma (4343 36th Avenue NW). The program includes a timed 5K, an untimed 1 mile run/walk, and a separate youth Trick or Treat Trot hosted by Norman Parks and Recreation at the same site.

The 5K registration fee is $35 and the 1 Mile fee is $30. The free youth Trick or Treat Trot is an open trick or treat event, not a racing event. The 5K entry includes a race medal, a custom race bib with timing tag, a custom flashlight while supplies last, and one beer ticket for entrants 21 and over; a custom race shirt is available as an add on. The 1 Mile entry includes a race medal, a custom race bib, a custom flashlight while supplies last, and one beer ticket for entrants 21 and over.
The 5K will include strobe lights and fog machines and is not recommended for people with epilepsy, light sensitivity, certain health conditions, or minors. Registration windows and fees vary by event. Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled at Beanstalk Coffee & Sno (3408 36th Ave NW, Norman); race-day packet pickup will also be available on site starting one hour before the race.
