Run Whiskey Run
Run Whiskey Run is a trail race held at Whiskey Run Trailhead near Bandon, Oregon, roughly 20 miles south of Coos Bay. The event uses a section of the Whiskey Run single-track trail system that is shaded, sheltered, rolling, smooth, and loamy. The start and finish are at the main Whiskey Run Trailhead.
Courses are 100% single-track trail and are not stroller friendly. Dogs are not allowed to run the course. Some trails were closed for logging and the course layout changed in 2025; projected and actual distances may vary.
Distances:
- 1.5 Mile (Shirley Temple)
- 5 Mile (Whiskey Ginger)
- 10 Mile (Double Shot; two loops of Whiskey Ginger)
The race supports the Wild Rivers Coast Mountain Bike Association. Day-of on-site registration and packet pick up are offered at the trailhead. Pricing is published as online and day-of rates with a student option; students may use the code Student2026 and are asked to bring exact change if paying on site. There are two vault toilets at the trailhead and no changing areas. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
