Christmas Lights Run - Coos Bay
The Christmas Lights Run meets at Wild Coast Running Co, 147 S Broadway, Coos Bay, OR 97420. The event takes place during the December holiday season and combines running and walking on a community route.
The planned course is a pretty flat 4-mile loop. The event is described as a relaxed run or walk with a no man/woman/child/dog left behind approach, so participants may proceed at different paces and include walkers and pets. Organizers provide a planned course map.
The program includes a very brief business meeting to elect officers. Attire mentioned for the occasion includes bright lights and an ugly sweater, reflecting the holiday theme. Overall the event is presented as an informal, community-focused outing around Coos Bay with both movement and a short meeting component. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
