Mac's Run
Mac's Run takes place at Sunset Bay State Park in Coos Bay, Oregon. The event features two road races through coastal terrain:
- 5K
- 10K
The course consists entirely of paved roads. For both distances, the route takes participants through Shore Acres State Park. The layout involves a loop heading south and a straight return section heading back north. The terrain is hilly and offers views of the ocean along the route.
Parking at the venue requires a vehicle pass. Day passes are available via a kiosk near the registration area using a QR code. Annual Oregon State Park passes are also accepted and can be purchased in advance at the Shore Acres gift shop or through the state park reservation system.
The registration fee is lower for students who use a specific code. These participants are asked to pay their entry fee in person on the day of the event to avoid credit card processing fees.
