Run, Walk, Roll & Law Enforcement Torch Run (formerly the Summer Solstice 5K)
Organized by the Delta Police Department and The Runinn in support of Special Olympics BC, this event takes place at Delta Police Headquarters, 4455 Clarence Taylor Crescent, Delta, BC, on June 9, 2026. The event offers a 5 km community course with post-event food and family entertainment on the police headquarters grounds.
Distances offered:
- 5 km run, walk, and roll
- Kids 5 km same course with discounted youth pricing
- 1 km kids loop for a shorter experience
The 1 km kids loop is scheduled after the majority of main-race participants have returned. The kids 5 km option includes a reduced race package for elementary and high school participants; that package does not include a shirt and is not eligible for top overall prizes. Triple O's will be on site for post-race food. Packet pickup is available at The Runinn in Tsawwassen Town Centre Mall on the days prior to the event and on location on event day with donations accepted for Special Olympics BC.
