Run, Walk & Rally (Peoria)
The Run, Walk & Rally (Peoria) is a community event held in East Peoria, Illinois, supporting Easterseals Central Illinois. This event serves as a celebration for families and the local community, promoting a vision of inclusion and empowerment for children. The gathering combines multiple regional activities into a single community celebration in the East Peoria area.
Participants can choose from several event formats:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Run/Walk
- Virtual 5K Run/Walk
- Virtual 1 Mile Run/Walk
The 5K course starts and finishes on West Washington Street in front of the Levee Park Pavilion. The 1 Mile course also begins at the Levee Park Pavilion on West Washington Street; however, it transitions from the road to the sidewalk and path at the Clock Tower Drive traffic circle before finishing near the post-race area.
The event offers specific registration options for individuals and families. A free registration tier is available for children aged 3 and under for the 1 Mile distance. Virtual options allow participants to complete their chosen distance at any location. Most registration tiers include a finisher medal, and event shirts are provided for those who register by the designated March deadline. For safety and coordination, please note that service dogs are the only animals permitted at the event.
