Run, Walk & Rally (Peoria)
The Run, Walk & Rally is a community event in East Peoria organized by Easterseals Central Illinois. The event is part of the Easterseals Community Rally, which aims to celebrate families and promote inclusion and empowerment. The fundraising goal is $14,000.
The event offers two physical courses:
- A timed 5K run/walk.
- An untimed 1 mile run/walk.
Both the 5K and 1-mile courses start on West Washington Street in front of the Levee Park Pavilion. The 1-mile course finishes on a sidewalk leading to the post-race area. There are also virtual options for both distances.
Registration includes a medal. A participant shirt is available for those who register before March 25. Special family pricing for groups of four is available for both distances. Children aged 3 and under can register for the 1-mile walk for free, but do not receive a shirt or medal.
Packet pickup is available the day before the event at RC Outfitters and on the morning of the event at the Levee Park Pavilion. The event is professionally timed by ShaZam Racing.
