Run Walk Praise 5K
Run Walk Praise 5K is a family-friendly walk and run event held in October at Baldwin Harbor Park, 3219 Grand Ave, Baldwin, NY 11510. A previous edition took place on October 10, 2026. Registration for future editions is not yet open and will open ahead of the listed event date; a notification option is available for interested participants.
The event combines fitness and faith with on-site activities and vendors. Amenities listed for the event include a post-walk/run Health, Wellness and Fitness Party, wellness vendors, music, dancing, spoken word, group fitness, face painting, pre and post-race refreshments, a post-race raffle, and guaranteed t-shirts for registrations completed two weeks in advance. All finishers receive a finisher medal and kids receive shirts.
Awards recognize the top overall male and female and top male and female in age groups 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. A Best Team award is judged on team size, outfit, and energy; that team receives a free group wellness and fitness session.
Bibs can be picked up in person from event staff starting one hour before the event. Registering three weeks in advance allows for a personalized bib. Last-minute registrants within 24 hours are assigned bib numbers by text. Virtual bibs are mailed the Monday prior; allow 3 to 5 days for delivery.
The event offers live online, email, and text results with free video and same-day finish line photos. Virtual participants can upload times and photos during the listed upload window and may track distance on a track, treadmill, certified course, or via common running apps.
