Run / Walk on the Bayou is scheduled for February 28, 2026 at Bayou Segnette State Park, Westwego, Louisiana (7777 Westbank Expy). The event offers the following distances:

Course maps are provided for the 5K, 10K, and the half-mile course. The event includes a kids dash, a 5K run/walk, a 10K run/walk, and an awards ceremony. Race day registration and packet pickup are offered.

Registration opened on November 10 and uses tiered pricing windows that increase closer to the event. Examples of posted fees and options include a 5K standard price around $39.56 to $44.93, 10K standard pricing starting near $50.29, a free Half-Mile Kids Dash for ages 14 and under, and a Virtual Entry (T-shirt, bib, medallion mailed) listed at $44.93. The virtual entry deadline is February 15. Prices are shown as inclusive of mandatory charges and fees.
