School on Wheels Run, Walk and Wag for Kids 5K and 2.6 Mile Walk
This community fundraising event takes place at Borderland State Park in North Easton, MA on May 9, 2026. The course wraps around the scenic trails of Leach Pond and is organized as a dog friendly outdoor event with both a timed 5K and a casual 2.6 mile walk.

The event includes entertainment, refreshments, prizes, pup cups for dogs, pupsicles for children, and a new feature this year called Flying Dogs. All dogs must be leashed (no flexi-leashes) and be current on rabies and other vaccinations. Free t-shirts and neckerchiefs are available to those who register by 4/24/2026. Parking is free but limited, so carpooling is recommended.
Team registration is offered; participants may join an existing team or create a new team during registration. Fees listed for the event are $35 per person for the 5K or the 2.6 mile walk, $10 for children age 7 and up, and free entry for children 6 and under and for dogs. Spectator admission is free.
All proceeds benefit School on Wheels of Massachusetts and support the academic, social, and emotional growth of students impacted by homelessness and poverty. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
