5K Run/Walk against Human Trafficking
This event on May 16, 2026, is a fundraiser and awareness effort for the A21 campaign against human trafficking. It is hosted by Fremont Elite Runners Club and lists support from Second Sole of Perrysburg, Sandusky County Parks District, and the Village of Lindsey.
The course is an out-and-back route on the Inland Trail, described as accurate and flat, with start and finish at Wendelle Miller Park, 240 S. Main St, SR 590, Lindsey, Ohio 43442.
Registration options and fees are provided in advance and on race day. Pre-registration is $25, with a $2 surcharge for 2XL shirts. Fremont Elite Runners Club members pay $23. Youth entry for the 1/4 mile is $5 for race only; a youth tech shirt adds $10 for a $15 youth fee. Mail-in registration deadline is May 1, 2026, and online registration closes May 10, 2026. Race day registration is $30 with limited shirts; youth race day entries are $5 only and no youth shirts are available on race day.
Awards are given to overall male, overall female, masters male, and masters female, plus top three finishers in the listed age categories from 14 and under through 75 and over. All youth 1/4 mile participants receive finisher medals.
