Event Details

The Fremont Elite Runners Club hosts the 5K Run/Walk against Human Trafficking. The event takes place on Saturday, May 16, 2026. It raises funds and awareness for the A21 campaign.

Distances and Fees

The event includes three activities:

  • 5K Run/Walk against Human Trafficking (pre-registration $25)
  • Youth 1/4 Mile Kids Run (Run Only/ No Shirt) (fee $5)
  • Youth 1/4 Mile Run (Run and Youth Tech Shirt) (fee $15)

Pre-registered participants for the 5K are guaranteed a race shirt, with an extra $2 fee for size 2XL. Members of the FERC club pay $23. The mail-in registration deadline is May 1, 2026, and the online deadline is May 10, 2026. Race day registration for the 5K costs $30, with limited shirts available. Youth race day registration is $5 with no shirt.

Location and Course

The start and finish are at Lindsey Park (Wendelle Miller Park) in Lindsey, Ohio. The course is described as an accurate, fast, and flat out-and-back route on the Inland Trail.

Awards and Information

Awards will be given for overall male/female and masters male/female. The top three finishers in numerous age categories will also receive awards. All youth participants in the 1/4 mile event receive finisher medals. The event will follow current health department guidelines for COVID-19.
