Event Overview
The Star Spangled Squirt Gun Run/Walk 5K is scheduled for July 4, 2026. The event features volunteers with squirt guns along the route. Registration and awards take place on Adams Street near Croghan Bank in Port Clinton, Ohio.
Course Details
The course is described as flat and scenic, going along Lake Erie and through the historic downtown area of Port Clinton.
Registration & Fees
Entry fees are as follows:
- $35.00 for pre-registration (by June 23, 2025) with a t-shirt.
- $40.00 on the day of the race.
- $20.00 for pre-registration for participants 9 years and younger.
- $25.00 on the day of the race for participants 9 years and younger.
Registration can be completed by mail. A check should be made payable to the Port Clinton Women’s Club and mailed to a provided address in Port Clinton.
Awards & Age Divisions
Awards are given for the overall male and female winners in the 5K run and walk. First place awards are also given for each age group in the 5K run and for overall winners in the 5K walk. Age divisions range from 14 & under to 70 & older.
Additional Features
Pre-registered participants receive a t-shirt and bib on race day. Refreshments are provided after the event. All proceeds from the event support the Port Clinton Women's Club, which provides college scholarships to local high school students.
