Star Spangled Squirt Gun Run 5K : Port Clinton, Ohio
The Star Spangled Squirt Gun Run/Walk is a 5K event held on July 4, 2026 in Port Clinton, Ohio. The course is described as scenic and flat, running along Lake Erie and through historic downtown Port Clinton. Volunteers stationed along the route carry squirt guns to help participants cool off during the event.
Registration and awards are handled on Adams Street in Port Clinton. Entry fees (no refunds) are listed as $35.00 for pre-registration, $40.00 day of race, $20.00 pre-registration for ages 9 and younger, and $25.00 day of race for that age group. Registration opens January 1, 2026 and closes June 26, 2026.
Awards include overall male and female 5K winners, first place male and female in each 5K run age group, and first place male and female overall for the 5K walk. Age divisions are 14 and under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70 and older.
T-shirts and bibs are provided to all pre-registered participants on race day, and refreshments are available following the event.
