Run Up for Heroes - Jacksonville, FL
Run Up for Heroes is a community event held on October 10, 2026, at 610 E. Bay Street, Jacksonville, FL. The event raises funds and awareness for veterans and supporters come together to honor service and address needs facing veterans after their service.
The event offers multiple distance and participation options:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 10K Run
- 5K Youth registration for ages 13 and under
- Virtual 5K
- Virtual 10K
- RUCK Up for Heroes 5K with weighted ruck
- RUCK Up for Heroes 10K with weighted ruck
Registration opens April 10, 2026. Several onsite and ruck registrations close May 31, 2026, while youth and virtual registrations remain open through October 10, 2026. Registration fees vary by event: $20 for youth 5K; $30 for 5K and ruck 5K; $50 for 10K and ruck 10K; $35 for virtual 5K; $55 for virtual 10K.
The rucking division is presented in partnership with GORUCK. Rucking participants carry a weighted ruck, the division is open to all experience levels, and all who complete the ruck course receive an exclusive Helping Hands for Heroes ruck patch.
