Run Unbridled Track Fest
Run Unbridled Track Fest is a USATF and World Athletics sanctioned track meet at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia on June 12, 2026. The meet is professionally timed and presents open and select heats across multiple distances, with community and competitive sections organized by seed time.
Distances contested include:
- 800 meters
- Mile
- 5000 meters (5k track)
- 2000 meters steeplechase
- 3000 meters steeplechase
- Distance Medley Relay (1600 / 1200 / 800 / 400)
Open races require minimum performance standards, for example a 10:00 mile or faster or a 30:00 5k. Select races run separately with faster entry cutoffs; anticipated competitive benchmarks are noted for several events. A youth mile is offered for children 13 and under who can maintain a 15:00 mile pace. Pole vault is organized separately by the Northern Virginia Pole Vault club.
Event operations include a formal check-in to collect bib and hip numbers, a secure bag drop area, live announcing and DJ music, food trucks, and on-site beer sales by Commonwealth Brewing. Spectators who are not competing, coaching, pacing, or volunteering require a general admission ticket; children four and under are admitted free.
