Run Unbridled Track Fest
Run Unbridled Track Fest is a USATF certified, professionally timed track meet at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia on June 12, 2026. The meet includes community open heats and select championship heats across multiple distances, with races seeded by entry times to form competitive fields.
The event program includes:
- 800 m
- Mile
- 5000 m (track)
- 2000 m steeplechase
- 3000 m steeplechase
- Distance Medley Relay (1600, 1200, 800, 400)
Additional features noted for the meet include live DJ music and announcing, food trucks and on-site refreshments including Aslin beer, spectator tickets and limited trackside seating, and a bag drop and check-in procedure for competitors. Open races have published pace cutoffs for entry and heat assignment; select races are intended for faster seeded fields. The meet also hosts a youth mile for runners 13 and under and organized pole vault competition run by the local pole vault club. Prize money is planned for selected steeplechase and DMR championship sections with amounts to be determined. A portion of proceeds supports Girls on the Run Northern Virginia. Parking and campus access are available at George Mason University, with the outdoor track and field complex located behind the fieldhouse.
