Run, Turkey, Run! 5K/1 Mile
The event takes place on November 26, 2026 at the Goodyear Recreation Campus in Goodyear, Arizona. The event offers the following race distances:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile
Registration opens August 31, 2026 and closes October 1, 2026. Entry fees vary by option and range from $15 to $25, with choices for entries that include a T-shirt or not.
Race amenities include a finisher medal for 5K finishers, finisher medals for the 1 Mile, race shirts guaranteed for preregistered participants if registration is completed before November 21, 2026, and post-race refreshments for both distances. Timing uses disposable RFID chips attached to race numbers and results are available live at an on-site results kiosk.
Awards for the 5K recognize the top three male and female overall and the top three youth male and youth female (17 and under). The 1 Mile awards the top three male and female overall.
The event partners with a local food and clothing bank and collects new items for donation to Saint Vince de Paul. Required items must be new and include baby food, canned food, diapers, socks and underwear, pet food and toys, hygiene products, and clothing or blankets. Packet pickup is scheduled for November 23 and November 24 at a location to be determined. Parking is available along Harrison St. The event is family friendly and does not allow pets.
