Event
The Run, Turkey, Run! 5K/1 Mile takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the Goodyear Recreation Campus, 420 S Estrella Pkwy, Goodyear, AZ 85338. The event offers the following distances:
- 1 Mile
- 5K
Options are available with or without a T-shirt for each distance.
Logistics and amenities
Registration is limited to 1,200 participants and prices increase after November 1, 2025. Race shirts are guaranteed for pre-registered participants who register by November 18. Packet pickup is scheduled Monday, November 24 and Tuesday, November 25 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.; limited race day packet pickup is available. The 5K awards top three male and female overall and top three youth male and female (17 and under). The 1 Mile awards top three male and female overall.
Timing uses disposable RFID chips attached to the reverse side of the race number; numbers should be pinned on the front of the shirt. Results will be available live at a results kiosk. Post-race refreshments, music, finisher medals, and family games are part of the event. No pets are allowed. Participants agree to bring at least one donated item for a local food and clothing bank (examples include baby food, canned food, diapers, socks or underwear, pet food or toys, hygiene products, clothing, or blankets).
