Run to the Taproom – Mully's Brewery Father's Day 5K
The Run to the Taproom takes place in Prince Frederick, Maryland, starting and ending at Mully's Brewery. This road race coincides with Father's Day and features a course consisting of mostly flat roads.
The event includes two main distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Kids Run (for ages 14 and under)
Both the 5K and the 1 Mile Kids Run are chip-timed. For the 5K, participants have a one-hour time limit. Jogging strollers are permitted on the course provided they start behind the main group of runners. Walkers are also welcome and are required to start behind the runners for safety.
The professional management includes course marshals, a water station along the route, and water and snacks at the finish line. All 5K participants receive a custom tech shirt, a pint glass, and a ticket for one craft beer. Participants under the age of 21 receive a finisher medal and root beer instead. For the 1 Mile Kids Run, participants receive a shirt, a finisher medal, and a root beer.
Awards are presented to the overall winners and age group winners across several categories. The event also features a food truck, free professional photography, and on-site parking.
