Run to the Beach - Tahoe Vista
This is a running event held on July 4th. It features two distances, a 5K and a 10K, both starting at North Tahoe Regional Park.
The courses use scenic trails. The 5K is described as a quick route, while the 10K includes a climb. The finish line is at the Tahoe Vista Recreation Area Beach. Parking is available at the start area for a fee, which is less than a mile from the finish line.
An attire contest will be held at the finish area, with judging by participants and prizes awarded.
Registration fees are tiered by date and age. Discounts are available for clubs, teams, challenged athletes, and military personnel. The event includes an event t-shirt, digital race photos, post-event music, food, beverages, and medical staff.
