Run to the Beach - Tahoe Trail Running
This running event takes place on July 4th at North Tahoe Regional Park. Participants can choose to run a 5K or a 10K route on scenic trails. The finish line is at the Tahoe Vista Recreation Area Beach, less than a mile from the start venue. Paid parking is available at the park.
Post-race festivities include food, beverages, and music at the beach finish area. There is also a costume contest where runners can vote for the best attire, with prizes awarded. Medical staff are present at the event.
Registration fees vary by distance and age category. Discounts are available for youth, seniors, military personnel, clubs, teams, and challenged athletes.
Included with the race fee are an event t-shirt and digital race photos. Awards are given for age groups and gender, provided there are at least five participants in a category. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
