Run 2 Save Our Youth - 5k Run/Walk
Run 2 Save Our Youth is a community 5k run/walk held on May 30, 2026 at Livonia City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, MI 48154. The event is sponsored by the Livonia Police Department and the Livonia Save Our Youth Coalition and supports the coalition's youth health and safety programs.
The event offers tiered registration pricing: March 1 to May 22 - $25; May 23 to May 29 - $35. There is no race day registration. Youth ages 18 and under and seniors 60 and older receive a $5 discount automatically at checkout. A family discount of $3 per person applies when three or more people register together.
Donation options can reduce or cover entry fees: a $100 donation can be used to obtain a free entry, while $50 and $25 donations provide $10 and $5 discounts respectively. T-shirts are available in men, women and youth sizes; registering by May 8 guarantees a shirt while supplies last. Finisher medals will be provided to all participants.
Awards include $50 Visa gift cards for overall male and female winners and $25 Visa gift cards for top finishers in multiple age groups from 9 and under through 80 and over. Overall winners are excluded from age group awards. The race will be chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation and results will be posted during the event and online.
