SMOC Merry Maybury Mayhem
SMOC Merry Maybury Mayhem is an orienteering event scheduled for December 12, 2026. Orienteering at this event uses a detailed map and a compass to locate control flags across the park. The activity is presented with a festive theme and lighthearted wording.
Timeline details are still to be confirmed. Organisers indicate course times on the order of 90 to 120 minutes, describing the courses as extended map-and-compass navigation focused on finding control flags.
Participants are expected to hold a recreation passport; a recreation passport can be obtained at a self-serve kiosk on entry to the park. There are substantial mountain bike trail reroutes in the park expected to be completed around October, and the event map may or may not reflect those changes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
