Run to Remember 5K/10K and .5k events : San Antonio

The 15th annual Run to Remember takes place at Mission County Park in San Antonio on April 24, 2027. The event offers multiple race options on and near park grounds, including trail sections for the 10K course on the Salado Creek trails run as an out and back course.

Available distances and formats:

• 5 km 5K Run/Walk at Mission County Park
• 10K 10K on Salado Creek trails out and back
• 3.1 miles Virtual Sleep-In donation option with shirt and medal for participants in the United States
• 0.5 km .5K Beer Run with participants starting with a full mug; winners are the top three with the most beer remaining
• 0.8 km .5k Kids Run with a medal for participants; shirts available for purchase
• 5 km Assisted Wheelchair Duo 5k
• 10 km Assisted Wheelchair Duo 10k

All 5K and 10K finishers receive medals and a shirt. Participants in the .5K Beer Run receive an etched beer mug to keep and the winners receive an award. The event is organized by Beard vs Beans as a fundraising effort; all proceeds benefit the Alzheimer Association of San Antonio and South Texas.

Teams can register; the team with the most registered participants will have its team name printed on Race Day shirts if the registration threshold is met by April 16, 2027. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
