Run to FosterHope takes place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at William Land Park - Village Green in Sacramento, California. The event is presented by FosterHope Sacramento as its 5th annual Run to FosterHope and is held during the organization’s 40th anniversary year. FosterHope Sacramento is a California licensed 501(c)(3) foster family agency serving El Dorado, Placer, San Joaquin, Yolo, and Sacramento counties.

The 5K course is described as flat and uses trails and roads inside William Land Park, near Fairytale Town, Funderland, and the Sacramento Zoo. The 5K uses two loops on the park road; the Start/Finish area is at the Village Green near Freeport Boulevard and Sutterville Road. The event includes vendors, food trucks, information booths, kids activities, and a family festival with a raffle. Paid registrations receive a T-shirt and finishing medal; late registrants are not guaranteed a T-shirt. The 3K and 5K are timed with chip timing provided by A Change of Pace. Strollers are permitted. Pricing for the 3K and 5K is listed with fee details and reduced or free rates for young children; the kids dash is free and open to ages eight and under.
