Run to FosterHope - 5th Annual
Run to FosterHope is an annual fundraising event presented by FosterHope Sacramento on June 13, 2026, at William Land Park in Sacramento, CA. The event supports FosterHope Sacramento’s community-based programs that stabilize and support children and youth in crisis and marks the organization’s 40th anniversary of service in the region.
The event offers multiple running options:
- 5K (3.1 Miles)
- 3K (1.5 Mile)
- Free Kids Fun Run Dash (8 and under)
The 5K course is described as flat and uses two loops on the road inside William Land Park, with the start and finish located by the Village Green at the corner of Freeport Boulevard and Sutterville Road. The park course runs near Fairytale Town, Funderland, and the Sacramento Zoo. Paid registrations include a T-shirt and a finisher medal, while the free kids dash awards participation ribbons. Timing is chip-based and provided by A Change of Pace.
The event also includes a family festival with vendors, food trucks, information booths, kids activities, and a raffle. FosterHope Sacramento provides services across several counties in the greater Sacramento region and operates as a California licensed 501(c)(3) nonprofit foster family agency.
