Charity and race features
The event supports Backpack Brigade, a weekend-hunger relief organization for schoolchildren in Washington state. Backpack Brigade provides food for children who rely on schools for breakfast and lunch and often have little to no food on weekends. The organization serves more than 5,000 students a week in 102 schools in King County.
