Registration includes a commemorative finisher medal unless the Green Bib option is chosen, a personalized race bib, professional chip timing, and free downloadable race photos. Optional add-ons include a Run to Empower shirt and an iTab ribbon hanger. The Green Bib option results in a donation to the event charity partner, the Canadian Breast Cancer Network.
The women's performance 5K is open to persons who identify as female aged 12 and up and awards prizes for the top eight, Masters (40+), and U19. Performance-based entry criteria apply; athletes meeting certain 5K time standards may receive free or reduced entry. Cash prizes are awarded to top finishers in the performance race and smaller prizes are awarded in Masters. There are monetary bonuses for breaking the event record and for breaking the Canadian 5K road record.
