Candy Cane Course - Colorado Springs
The Candy Cane Course - Colorado Springs takes place on December 28, 2025 at El Pomar Youth Sports Park, 2212 Executive Cir, Colorado Springs, CO 80906. The event group includes the following races:
- Kids Dash (ages 10 and under)
- 1 Mile
- 5k
- 12k
- Virtual Race
- Volunteer then Run
Registration prices range from $25.98 to $48.28, including a $4.28 fee. Youth pricing for the 5k/12k is $22 for ages 12 and under.
Race format, services, and policies
Timed races use chip-timing with live results and awards. The 5k and 12k registrations include a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal. The 1 Mile is untimed and includes a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal. The Kids Dash is an untimed dash for ages 10 and under and includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a kid-specific medal. Kid's Dash, 1 Mile, and Virtual events are untimed and do not qualify for age group awards.
Age group awards for the 5k and 12k include overall, masters (40+), and top 3 in standard age brackets up to 80+. Free photos, finish-line treats, and vendor presence are listed. Packet pickup is available on race day beginning 1.5 hours before the race. Course maps are provided and the course is subject to change.
The virtual option ships a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and packet; mailed the Wednesday after the race. The organizer maintains a no-refund policy; events proceed in most weather and will only cancel if the venue requires it or if there are ice hazards, in which case entries may be transferred to the virtual event.
