Run the Wild Half Marathon - Autumn Edition

Run the Wild Half Marathon Autumn Edition is a guided trail half marathon based in the Chiltern Hills. The route covers around 13 miles, roughly 21.1 km, with an ascent of about 300 m and takes place over half a day. The event is listed with a start location at Church Farm Cafe, Aldbury, and is described as being roughly 30 minutes northwest of London by rail or road.

Participants are grouped by ability and led by local English Athletics qualified run leaders. Trail running instruction is provided during the event and steep sections are walked where necessary. A staffed refreshment point is provided just over halfway on the route. Facilities at the venue include a cafe, toilets and a bag drop. Parking is available on site and the start is a 15 minute walk from the nearest rail station.

The event includes a finisher’s medal and a Trees not Tees certificate. The organiser lists a participant limit of 50 spaces and an individual ticket price of £55 for the Autumn edition. Dogs are allowed with cani cross equipment only.
