Run the Vineyards Willow Creek 5K
The Run the Vineyards Willow Creek 5K returns to West Cape May for its fifth annual edition. This event takes place at the Willow Creek Winery and is open to runners, walkers, and spectators. The race serves as a benefit for the HEADstrong Foundation.
The event features a single distance:
- 5 km
The course is chip-timed with live results provided for all participants. The route is well-marked and includes course marshals and water stations to assist participants. Bananas and water are available at the finish line. There is a requested time limit of one hour to complete the course. Children are welcome to participate but must be registered swimmers or walkers for safety purposes.
Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers. Recognition is also given to age group winners in categories including 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, and every 10-year interval thereafter.
Following the race, an after-party is held at the winery. Participants aged 21 and over receive a complimentary glass of wine, and a stemless wine glass is provided to all finishers. The celebration includes live music and food options available for purchase.
