About the race
The Run the Vineyards Willow Creek 5K is the sixth annual 5K held at Willow Creek Winery in West Cape May, New Jersey. The event includes chip timing with live results and a well-marked course staffed by course marshals. Water stations are provided along the route, and bananas and water are supplied at the finish. Walkers and children may participate but must be registered to be on course for participant safety.
A one hour time limit is requested for the event. Awards are presented to the top three male and female overall finishers and to age group winners in the following categories: 14 and under, 15–19, 20–29, and then every 10 years. Race packet pick-up is handled on race day at the Good Day for a Run tent. Registration details for the 5K include an opening date on 2026-08-28 and a closing date on 2026-10-31; the listed registration fee for the 5K is $46.00. The after party features live music following the race, food available for purchase at the winery, spectators on site, and wine available for purchase.
Finishers receive a stemless wine glass and a race shirt is included with registration; a women's racerback tank top is available for a $5 upgrade and men's tanks are available at no extra fee if requested by the stated deadline.
