Run the Vineyards Willow Creek 5K
The Run the Vineyards Willow Creek 5K takes place on April 19, 2026, at Willow Creek Winery in West Cape May, New Jersey. This is the fifth annual running of the event and it lists HEADstrong Foundation as its charity partner.
The race is chip-timed with live results. The course is described as well marked and supported by course marshals, with water stations on course and bananas and water provided at the finish. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers and to age-group male and female winners in the following brackets: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, and every ten years thereafter. Walkers of all ages are welcome but must be registered; a one hour time limit is requested.
Post-race offerings include a complimentary stemless wine glass for all finishers and a complimentary glass of wine for finishers aged 21 and over. A live musician performs after the race and food and wine are available for purchase at the winery. Race shirts are included with registration, with an option to upgrade to a women's racerback tank for an additional fee; souvenir finisher medals are available for purchase. Free downloadable race and after-party photos will be provided and a professional photographer is on staff. Packet pick-up is available on race day at the on-site Good Day for a Run tent.
