The Helen L. Diller Vacation Home for Blind Children Turkey Trot offers a 5K run and a 1.5-mile walk on Friday, November 27, 2026. The events take place in Avalon, New Jersey.

Registration and Logistics
Registration costs $30 for each event. Online registration remains open until the race starts. There is also race day registration and bib pickup from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the corner of 30th & Avalon Avenue in Avalon; the price for race day registration is $40. The race benefits the Helen L. Diller Vacation Home for Blind Children.
Awards and Prizes
Awards are given for the top three overall male and female finishers, determined by gun time. There are also age group awards for the top three in each category. Age groups for both men and women are: Under 10, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. A prize will be awarded for the most festively dressed individual and group in honor of Festive Friday in Avalon.
