Run the Vineyards - William Heritage 5 Miler
This event is a chip timed 5 mile race held at William Heritage Winery in Mullica Hill, New Jersey. The course combines approximately three miles of off road cross country style terrain with about two miles on country roads. The route is described as well groomed and well marked, with course marshals and a water station. Bananas and water are provided at the finish.
Participants receive event items and services including a stemless wine glass, a finisher medal, and a custom race shirt available in women’s, men’s/unisex, and youth sizes. There is an optional upgrade to a women’s racerback tank for an additional fee; participants who register by April 12 are guaranteed first choice for shirt options while supplies last after that date. One complimentary glass of wine is offered for participants aged 21 and over. Spectators are welcome and wine is available for purchase on site; outside alcohol is not allowed.
Awards are presented to the top three overall and to male and female age group winners, with categories starting at 14 and under, then 15 to 19, 20 to 29, and each decade thereafter. The event includes free professional race and after party photos, food trucks, live music at the after party, and is held rain or shine. Walkers may participate and must register.
