Sip and Stride 5K
The Sip and Stride 5K is a chip-timed 3.1 mile run and walk through Running Hare Vineyard in Prince Frederick, MD on September 19, 2026. The event includes a requested one hour time limit for the course and awards a souvenir finisher medal.
Registration details note a fee of $44.00, with registration opening April 30, 2026 and closing July 18, 2026. Registrants who register by August 31, 2026 may select a custom adult unisex or youth t-shirt; registrations after that date do not include a shirt. Each registration includes a drink ticket for a complimentary glass of Running Hare wine for participants 21 and over with valid ID, and there is an option to purchase additional discounted drink tickets during registration.
The event benefits Holly's Heart Foundation. It is held rain or shine with no transfers or refunds. No strollers or dogs are allowed on the course. Spectators are welcome and the winery will be open during and after the event. Walkers and children may participate but must register; for participant safety walkers and children will begin behind runners. Packet pickup is available on race day at the Holly's Heart Foundation tent. A portion of the course runs on the vineyard driveway, which will be closed prior to the race.
