Sip and Stride 5K
Sip and Stride 5K is a chip timed 5K run and walk held at Running Hare Vineyard in Prince Frederick, Maryland on September 19, 2026. The course runs through the vineyard and carries a requested one hour time limit for participants.
Registration includes a custom unisex adult or youth T‑shirt when size selection is completed by August 31, 2026; registrations after that date will not receive a shirt. Entry also includes a drink ticket for a complimentary glass of Running Hare Wine for participants aged 21 and over with valid ID, with an option to purchase additional discounted drink tickets during registration. All finishers receive a souvenir medal.
Awards include pins for Overall Male and Overall Female plus the top three males and females in the following age groups: 12 and under, 13–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, and 80 and over.
Event policies noted by the organizer state the event is rain or shine, there are no transfers or refunds, and no strollers or dogs are allowed on the course. Walkers and children may participate but must register and will start behind the runners for safety. Packet pickup is handled on race day at the Holly's Heart Foundation tent. Proceeds support Holly's Heart Foundation, a 501(c)(3) that provides families with a memorial keepsake containing a recorded heartbeat inside a legacy bear.
