Run the Vineyards - Ingleside Vineyards 5K/8K
The Run the Vineyards event takes place on April 11, 2026 at Ingleside Vineyards in Colonial Beach, VA. The event offers organized 5K and 8K running options held on vineyard property and is chip timed.

The course runs through roughly 50 acres of vineyards and includes rolling hills and off-road sections. The course is well marked and supported by course marshals, water stations, and refreshments at the finish line including bananas and water. Award medals are given to the top three overall and to age group winners for male and female categories (14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, and every 10 years thereafter).
Event items and services include a complimentary glass of wine for participants age 21 and over, a stemless wine glass for all finishers, and a custom tech shirt in women’s, men’s/unisex, and youth sizes. A women’s racerback tank top is available for a $5 upgrade; men’s tanks do not require an added fee. Run the Vineyards finisher medals are available for purchase during registration or on race day.
Additional details: 5K walkers and all ages must be registered for safety, a one hour time limit is requested for the 5K, spectators are welcome, an after-party on the winery patio features live music and a food truck, free race and after-party photos are provided and emailed within 48 to 72 hours. The race is held rain or shine and there are no refunds or deferrals. Packet pick-up occurs on race day at the Good Day for a Run table at the winery. Volunteers receive event perks.
