RTT Gower Trail Half Marathon & 10K
Run the Trails Gower is an outdoor trail event at Oxwich Bay, Swansea, Wales. It is the opening event of the 2026 RTT Series and offers competitors the first opportunity to earn points in the 2026 RTT standings. The event is currently postponed and a new date will be announced.
The courses use varied terrain, including coastal paths, woodland trails and sand dunes. The half marathon is a fully self-navigated route with checkpoints along the way. The 10 km and 5 km routes are marked with signage to help direct runners. Participants are responsible for knowing the course for their chosen distance.
Available distances:
- Half Marathon: fully self-navigated route with checkpoints.
- 10 km: marked route with signage.
- 5 km: marked route with signage.
Included with entry are a finisher's medal, chip timing, event facilities, and water stations and checkpoints. The race will start from Oxwich Bay and participants can use the designated Oxwich Car Park. Parking costs are not included in the entry fee; parking is listed as £7 per car, with potentially higher charges for larger vehicles. Payment is by cash to the car park attendant.
