Trail Half Marathon Wales - Margam Park East gate, South Wales
The event takes place within Margam Park and uses woodland trails, open parkland and rolling hills. The course passes through the deer park and beneath the Margam country house, with views across the South Wales coast toward the Gower. Terrain consists of forest paths and woodland trails.
Two race distances are offered:
- Trail Half Marathon
- Trail 10k Wales
The route is fully marked with running arrows and flags. The half marathon has three waterpoints and the 10k has two waterpoints; runners are asked to carry a reusable bottle or cup. Mandatory kit includes a bottle or plastic cup for checkpoints, a phone with the race HQ number written on it, headwear suitable for conditions, and a waterproof top if the forecast is poor.
Car parking is provided at the event centre at Margam Park East gate and is included in the entry fee. Entry fees listed are £38 for the half marathon and £34 for the 10k. Entries include a finishers medal, electronic timing, free race photographs to download, event safety and first aid cover, marked route and land permits, checkpoints and a GPS file of the route.
