Trail Half Marathon Wales : Margam Park, South Wales
The event takes place at Margam Park East gate in South Wales and uses forest paths and woodland trails across the parkland. The course passes through the historic deer park and runs beside the Margam country house, with views across the South Wales coastline towards the Gower. Runners encounter woodland trails, open parkland and rolling hills.
The route is fully marked with running arrows and flags. Waterpoints are provided: three on the half marathon route and two on the 10k route. Participants must carry throughout a bottle or plastic cup if water is required, a phone with the race HQ number, suitable headwear, and a waterproof top if the forecast is poor.
Entry fees include car parking at the event centre, a finishers medal, free race photographs to download, event safety and emergency first aid cover, electronic timing, and a GPS file of the route. The organiser supplies marked routes and holds land permits. Optional merchandise is available for purchase, including a race T-shirt and a hoodie.
