Gower Coastal Trail Run
The event takes place at Oxwich Bay on 7 November 2026 and is organised by Endurancelife as part of the 2026-27 trail running season. Runners who complete any distance at this event will earn points and be listed on the Season Leader Board.
Courses run on varied, strenuous terrain listed as grass, moor, beach and rock. The route descriptions reference cliff tops, downland, woodland, sand dunes and world famous beaches within the Gower peninsula, which was the first place in Britain designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Distances and approximate ascent for each course are:
- 10K : 6.8 miles, ascent 583 ft
- Half Marathon : 14.3 miles, ascent 1916 ft
- Marathon : 27.4 miles, ascent 3425 ft
- Ultra : 34.2 miles, ascent 3874 ft
Event records are provided for male and female categories for each distance. Entry fees listed for the event include values of £35, £47, £59 and £71. The event listing shows current fill levels for each distance category as 89/100, 93/100, 90/100 and 94/100 respectively.
Registered participants will be asked to complete an online check-in approximately two weeks before the event, including confirmation of emergency contact details and viewing a mandatory event safety video. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
