Gower Coastal Trail Run
The event takes place at Oxwich Bay on 7 Nov 2026 in the Gower peninsula. Gower was the first place in Britain designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The courses run along coastal cliff tops, downland, woodland, sand dunes and beaches. The terrain is described as strenuous and includes grass, moor, beach and rock surfaces.
Distances offered include:
- 10K, 6.8 mi, ascent 583 ft
- Half Marathon, 14.3 mi, ascent 1,916 ft
- Marathon, 27.4 mi, ascent 3,425 ft
- Ultra, 34.2 mi, ascent 3,874 ft
Participants who complete any distance at this event are awarded points that contribute to the Endurancelife Season Leader Board for 2026-27. The event is part of the Endurancelife 26-27 trail running season, running from September 2026 until July 2027. Registered participants will be asked to check in online approximately two weeks before the event; this process includes confirming personal details and viewing a mandatory event safety video.
